What We Do: Clean Water

What We Do: Clean Water
Bringing Clean Water to Communities
884 million people lack access to safe water supplies, approximately one in eight people. (1) 3.575 million people die each year from water-related diseases. (2) Children are commonly orphaned when their parents die from water-borne diseases. Orphans’ Heroes addresses this issue by bringing clean water to villages.
Orphans’ Heroes has installed water pumps in two communities — Andokope and Segbedeme, Ghana. To date, we have brought clean water to more than 4,300 people.
Orphans’ Heroes currently has one water project underway at the Golda Meir Academy and Kitikpa community in Hohoe, Ghana. + LEARN MORE ABOUT HOHOE
